First of all, I’m always really excited when @ctrl-alt-nwo shows up on my notification.

Swanes Golden Cypress is a vigorous ornamental tree with a very stately, columnar shape that can reach up to seven metres in height. It has rather flaky or scaly bark and produces small, spherical female cones.

It features dense, green to golden yellow evergreen foliage that can be clipped to shape or left to its own elegant outline. Being naturally pencil-thin they really can be left to their own devices and still look very elegant.

They make excellent screens or hedges but are also seen in formal gardens creating a majestic impact when planted along driveways and broad paths.
Best in cooler climates, they prefer light, well drained, moist soils of any type. They are also coastal tolerant e.g. can handle salty winds.

I recognize the cypress, it grows the same. This slowly growing evergreen conifer has a very attractive yellow foliage, which is maintained throughout the year. Its very narrow, columnar shape is great for containers, individual samples or for softening corners. Slowly reaching 15-20 'x 2-3', this bright cypress is resistant to deer, thriving on the coast and easily spiral or form. After installation, a little water is required.

Swane's Golden Pencil Pine

It is a very enchanting plant with a beautiful green color.
I think, it is very suitable to be planted in front of the house or in the garden. And unique, it can be like our fence.
Leaves that form a round cone are a hallmark of this ornamental plant.
Plants that grow in this sunny place create beautiful scenery. This ornamental plant, can grow in all soil structure.
In addition, this beautiful plant, can be planted in a narrow land, because the growth loomed up.
Enjoy!

Info collected from-https://www.burkesbackyard.com.au/fact-sheets/in-the-garden/trees-and-palms/pencil-pines/

The Pencil pines is a name given to a number of tall narrow growing or ‘upright’ conifers. And the list includes not only the well known Cupressus semervirens ‘Glauca’ or Italian pencil pine but also Athrotaxis cupressoides, a native Australian species from Tasmania

The name applies to a group of tall narrow growing conifers and the pencil pines are valued in landscaping to this upright habit that adds strong architectural line to landscaping projects as well as providing a natural solution for screening or hedging in narrow confines.

Although these are a very hardy tree once established, with a little care when planting they will perform much better.

They do like a position in full sun, and like most conifer trees prefer a slightly acidic soil. They need good drainage and a little care when first planting and over the first few summers.

Cupressus is a lovely, dense, pencil-thin conifer with gold foliage. It is ideal as a dramatic focal plant and also attractive in a large pot. It is a slow grower with a mature size of approximately 6 m x 70 cm.

Plants in the genus Cupressus make wonderful subjects for topiary too, and are pruned and trimmed to create balls, lollipop trees, poodle trees and the most beautiful spirals. In gardens in the coldest parts of the Free State there are cupressus topiaries created with such expertise that they would impress even the old French masters who perfected this art hundreds of years ago.

It has needle-like lemon-scented, lime-green leaves that change to an intense yellow green in winter, the time of year when it is at its prettiest and growing actively. It has a conical form and grows to a mature height of about 5 m and a width of 2 m.

Congratulations ... very beautiful garden photography post.. I appreciate your plants... thanks for you and most welcome sir... best of luck in your new post....

The most beneficial friend of the tree environment. In the human life the benefits of trees can not be ended. All of the tree's contribution from the fruit, fruits and fruits that we see in our daily lives. But some of us know the importance of trees? We just plant different trees ', save the environment.' We do not plant trees. If we all planted at least one tree, then there would not have been so much adverse environmental conditions. That's why government, non-governmental enterprises Only a few days, such as Environment Day, Earth Day, etc., we have to plant trees. And in the rest of the year, we would like to sleep as a kumkarna. Many people say that there is no suitable place for planting trees in our country. But there are plenty of spaces lying beside the roads, highways and railway lines. If these fruits are planted in mango, black gram, jackfruit, litchi, guava, amalaki, bears, hartaki, sapheda, pidadana etc...

Very popular golden column used as a narrow screen or as a specimen. Easily sheared to size in Spring once desired height is achieved. Hardy in dry conditions.

The glory of gardening: hands in the dirt, head in the sun, heart with nature. To nurture a garden is to feed not just the body, but the soul.
0040832.jpg

Whether you love them or hate them, conifers are almost indispensable in cold gardens and to be honest, for many of us Christmas isn’t really Christmas without a decorated Cupressus macrocarpa’GOLD CREST in a pot.
SwaGPP75_thumbnail-300x300.jpg

I grow plants for many reasons: to please my eye or to please my soul, to challenge the elements or to challenge my patience, for novelty or for nostalgia, but mostly for the joy in seeing them grow.

A striking addition to any landscape, this golden Monterey Cypress is quite popular and widely available in nurseries and garden centers. ‘Goldcrest’ is noted for its narrow, upright habit and exquisitely bright color; it fits into many different planting situations especially in smaller spaces.

The caveat to this beauty is its semi-hardiness in the Pacific Northwest. It requires a warm spot in the garden or it is best confined to a container planting that could be moved during a hard, cold winter. Most plants sold in garden centers are small, immature trees with very tender, needle-like foliage, and have a wonderful citrus scent when rubbed. They’re wonderful as a vertical accent in a container and are frequently sold decorated with ornaments during the holiday season.

They should be grown in full sun and have well draining soil. Once established, they are quite drought tolerant and often they turn slightly orange or light brown during the winter time, resuming chartreuse coloration once the weather warms in spring.

Source please.

That is a amazing trees and really beautiful flowers. the beat garden.
Thanks for the information.

This is our "juniper". We use this tree as decorative. That's what I learned about it. Beautiful, fast growing evergreen, which forms a majestic, dark green, densely branched column, well suited for use as an official accent , screen or windshield. In its natural form, a symmetrical pyramidal shape rarely needs pruning. Excellent sample for formal tuples. Tolerant to heat, cold and drought.

In every period of humanity, there are many symbolic items with a certain belief value. In Turkish traditions, it is seen that sacredness is attributed to the sky, water, fire, trees and plants in the place-water belief, or the semantic depth of a certain symbolic religious character is loaded, depending on the belief of the Sky God. Among these, the beliefs about wood continued to exist in Turkish communities. This motto is "Swane's Golden (Servi Ağacı)" motif in the frame of this belief and in the Turkish communities in the old periods and in the most common of the arts of the Seljuk and Ottoman eras.

The "Swane's Golden" is the symbol of our welfare and social belief values as well as the efforts of human beings to exist from birth to death, and to be a wicked one. Despite the harsh conditions of the seasons, the Swane's Golden can express their lives by being able to remain strong without losing their greenery and with their durability. It is also believed that the figure also represents correctness due to the upright posture of the body extending to the heavens. Yet another belief is that the cypress tree has good fortune and protection. Together with this belief, the Swane's Golden are also described as a tree of life symbolizing abundance and abundance in ancient Turkish culture.

The most important reason for this is that the tree roots come from under the soil, the body is on the earth, and the leaves are in the chest. In this trilogy there is a belief that evokes the desire to reach birth, life and hope. If the tree is always green despite the seasonal conditions, the immortality is also symbols. In the Ottoman culture minarets are similar to cypresses, tree of life, and birds placed in branches are symbols of life, that is, human beings. Because they needed the sun to grow, their ascension to the sky constantly caused the mystical significance of the service.

Otras especies: 20 especies inc. C. macrocarpa

Very unique shaped trees this is great to see wonderful thanks for sharing such interesting about this tree :)

Cupressus sempervirens 'Stricta' - Italian Cypress,Mediterranean Cypress, Pencil Pine,Funeral Cypress is a standout amongst the most striking, conspicuous trees there is. Its long thin shape makes it ideal for interspersing design highlights.

Much obliged for sharing this cultivating plants.

Long time no botanical sweets from you. This cypress reminds me on Pisa tower, beautiful decoration in front of house.

It sure has its glory in its own way ;)

Plant Trees Save the Environment....
Not only in the development of nature, plants also help save lives, biodiversity and human life. The amount of oxygen we take from the tree absorbs the amount of carbon dioxide released from the human body. According to experts, 25 percent forest area is needed for our country's size and population, but in reality there are 8-10 percent forest land. People can not be finished by talking about trees. In addition to taking oxygen and carbon dioxide, we protect ourselves from various natural disasters such as flood, drought, storms, tidal waves etc. Flowers of different species make the scenes look phenomenal. Green tree decoration makes our sight even more intense. Just so - the tree gives us fruit, gives shade, preserves life-saving drugs, can be used to grow the decoration of the house with wood and use the furniture if necessary. Provide money in the absence and danger.

In the previous era we saw that besides the large-size bot trees around the house, trees like paddy, palm, mango, jackfruit, jackfruit, litchi etc. But people are cutting the big trees for want of unnecessary trees. Trees can not be protected from any kind of tree-eating plant. Today the tree is burning in brick kiln fire. On the one hand, as the native species of trees are lost, the foreign trees are being planted more.

With a little awareness, it will be seen that in addition to the major cities of the country, unplanned untimely planting of foreign trees has fallen in rural areas. People are becoming interested in them by seeing the rapid growth of foreign trees such as mahogany, ecya, botlapam, willow, raytree, eucalyptus etc. But in the crowd of these foreign trees, our heritage carrier is going to lose local mango, jack, jackfruit and litchi trees. It is not only the loss of native fruits but also the adverse effect of the environment. Fatal threats to the country's biodiversity also appear. Animals and wildlife experts think that foreign trees are harmful for human body too. They say that due to the large number of foreign trees planting, on one hand, the feeding of native birds and other animals is decreasing, while on the other hand, they are spreading harmful toxic substances for human health. Moreover, these foreign trees absorb excessive underground water and put water levels down further. The government should give a sincere appeal to the special attention being given on this issue and to promote the development of the country....
