This was a great commentary. I haven't seen the season. I saw the first season, but this really explained a lot for me and made sense. A lot of these things I wasn't thinking about, but are absolutely true. The comparison to fan fiction, the extended universe, the obvious lack of originality. It's all there. This pieces everything together cohesively and well explained.

Times like this, I'm glad I never watched any of this show ^^

The first season was enlightening to know the lengths that people are willing to go to spread their political beliefs. The number of ethical boundaries they are willing to step over. The amount of twisting and warping they are willing to do to convince themselves they're right. If anything, it was entertaining for that purpose.
