Need More Ram! Vroom! Vroom!

Short on Computer Ram :'(


Alright, so I've been learning 3DS Max for the past week in prep for making some CGI Art/Models to share here on steemit. After some time playing around with 3DS Max, I noticed after a few hours it begins to slow. Unsure as to why, I pull up task manager and see that it's using 11GB of ram! Unfortunately I only have 16GB of ram.

As I write this I have Task Manager open checking memory usage and see Google Chrome is a resource hog as well! I guess I need to find a new browser too. Any recommendations?

I'm hoping to get some more RAM in the near future. I linked the RAM that I needed to match the RAM I currently have installed.

      I'm glad that works for you. What OS are you using? Also what version of 3DS Max are you using?

      Mines at 91% with 16gb Ram.

        I am using windows 10 Pro.I do not use my system for any kind of video rendering I just use my Pc for internet browsing or compiling small programmes. Your PC very high end bro

          Oh okay. I'm working on rendering works and such. Thanks, I only wish my Ram was enough not to slow the system down.
