The Wilderness.
You have places where you are in bondage. It may be in your relationships, your health, or your money. The great news is there is a promised land! There is a better place of freedom! In order to get there, there is a space of traveling in the wilderness. It is necessary and beneficial, but not always fun. We can shorten the time spent in the wilderness by asking good questions. Questions like:
"What is it I get to learn from this experience?"
"What things am I not seeing that are necessary for freedom?"
"What is the right next step on my journey?"
Your human nature wants you to hurry and get through it, or avoid it altogether. It wants to find a pill or take any quick fix solution you can see. This is not the answer and leads to increased time in the wilderness. The solution lies in slowing down, seeing the big picture, and submitting to the lesson. As you take the necessary steps, you will learn to enjoy the wilderness! It is full of joy, learning, and seeking truth. It can even be fun!
Today, take a moment to ponder the right questions to ask about your wilderness experience. Write down what comes and as much as the answer as you can see right now. It will give you understanding and provide the next few steps to take on your journey.
Remember, There IS a PROMISED LAND! Choose to believe and take the next action step of faith.
