I could not believe what was inside this package.
Obviously, steemit has changed the world that we live in for so many of us who have taken the time to invest our time, effort, and energy into it. Recently, I received and unexpected package in the mail from @ecoinstant & @ecoinstante. The package itself was an incredible gesture, but the letter that came with it and the story behind it blew my mind. If you want to be amazed, check this video out. We were indeed both winners! And our whole family was blessed, the Lord works in mysterious ways they say, all I know is I have never regretted serving Him, even when assigned really hard homework.
We brought a bunch of pictures and should be making a post soon about those handmade placemats. I thought those might be handy as you get your place together ;)

They are just so time-consuming and labor intensive on my end that I've pushed them back and put them on hold for right now, but after this package and letter, it makes me think that it is time to start again!
I joined steemit just one year ago and you were already in full force with your Steem-Pocalypse contest. Since i was focused on learning about the platform and writing (unsure of what Steem-Pocalypse was too) I bypassed it.. but NOW! I am ready for it!!
I can only imagine. My days right now involve pretty much running from one thing to the next and Steemit is pretty tough to fit in there. I can only imagine what your schedule looks like at the moment. You've been quite generous with your time doing the seasons you've done so far!
Is there anything that might make them easier? I know @novaatebatman was helping with the steempocalypse clerical work, making her database and patrolling the comments and so forth. Is there some way to farm out portions of the labor so you don't have to monitor so much, maybe?

It's crazy that they can hold you in a hospital for non-payment! So glad he won. Super-Pepper to the rescue!
Unfortunately, this is a reality in many third world countries. They hold you hostage, until you pay or else your family needs to come up with the money. I had the experience in Costa Rica. It was a public hospital to boot. When you are admitted they take our clothes and you don't see them again until you leave. Visitors one hour a day and they are searched for contraband. No phones permitted either. I was sent to another hospital for testing and my husband had to track me down because the hospital did not notify him. It was the worst experience of my life. Thank goodness that Super Papa Pepper could come to the rescue! Who know how long he would have been held captive.
No kidding! It sounded like a cross between a hospital, jail, and a kidnap/ransom!
That was absolutely the most heart-warming story -ever!!!!

Hm. With gold at $40.41 per gram today...and the average crown being two to three grams...
But that would only work once. After you pulled the teeth, then you'd just have a big gap or two. So the tooth would really only be valuable as a tooth and then would be a liability in rough times because someone might knock you on the head for the tooth...

This kind of hostage is happening in some places here. I don't know which is worse, turning you down because you don't have money to pay or holding you hostage because you don't have money to pay.
