Getting the families together is really heart warming especially for people who live at wide distances.
May your holiday be festive and bright, dear @mariannewest :-)

thank you so much. Here in California, the sun is shining and I personally do not much for Christmas. Our family gets together for the day and we eat LOL

And here, the Christmas tree (if you do one) goes up the day after Thanksgiving or anytime between then and Christmas eve (Dec 24th) and most people take it down right after the 25th, but for sure by New Year (Jan 1st). We do enjoy to come together as a family...

That is so unusual for me to have a sunny day in late December. Dry winters are not much favoured. We even had a snow provoking song when we were children. This year I sang it to my 3-year old nephew and ....heheheeh, it still works, it started snowing.

The distance that separate us is between 250 and 2000 km and we do that traveling for our Christmas and summer holidays. It feels good to have them here to pack and parcel 2018 in the history of past amazing years.

I love when families are close and like to be with each other. Enjoy your holidays!!
