I realized that people are identified based on their continents and skin colour, for instance, Africans, Asians, Australians, North Americans and so on. This generic names for people based on their region have been the basis of disunity amongst humans.
Ok, I agree to the fact that I'm Nigerian and from Africa which automatically makes me an African. What if the world did not have any continent, what about the world where there is no separation based on ethnic group, religious background, and colour. A world where there is no continent at all to lay claim to, then we will be called Homo sapiens (Intelligent man).
The reason why the world lacks unity and lies broken and in heaps, is because man is disunited with himself. - Ralph Waldo Emerson
The world would be a better place if everyone sees ourselves as one, and not be bound by race or community. Everyone should be treated with respect and dignity.
Divisions make us see ourselves differently, It makes us focus more on our differences than what we have in common. What we should possess is love.
Why will a fellow human be neglected because he/she is not having the same colour, Why do we treat each other differently because we are not practising the same faith?
I want a world full of love and unity, a world where race and colour do not matter. I want my children's children to meet yours and shake hands with love, share things together with love and do not care about race or any other discriminating factor.
In other to achieve this, we need a change the way we think and the way we see people. Nobody is inferior to the other, we all have blood running through our veins and we are all one.
“We are each other's harvest; we are each other's business; we are each other's magnitude and bond.” - Gwendolyn Brooks
Support a world where we are all the same because we truly are the same. Life is more fulfilling if we live in love and peace.
“The Destiny of Man is to unite, not to divide. If you keep on dividing you end up as a collection of monkeys throwing nuts at each other out of separate trees.” - T.H. White,

I like your dream and I share it too. But I am what you might call a realist and know that it's not quite achievable. What is achievable though is empathy; the disposition to see reason from an observers eye. This will in turn help develop tolerance and consequently justice and unity.
I have been fortunate to reside in countries with very contrasting cultures from the one where I was raised as a Nigerian. I have seen the extent to which our environment shapes our behavior, biases and values. To that effect, I know that education goes a long way to help bridge the gaps but curiosity goes even further. I just want a world where people not only go to school but are ravenously hungry with curiosity about people that are physically, and mentally different from them. For if we do not understand each other, we won't be able to stand each other.
Big ups.
Unity goes far beyond education, religious backgrounds, and colours. If we look above that then we can say with confidence "this is my family" even though we are not biologically related.
Thanks a lot for taking time to read my post
Let's keep it real / Peace
Beautiful picture, let the love continue

Peace Ever!
I think people are very strong influenced by their regional "world".
If there was nothing like region, would people still behave and think the way they do?
Hello my friend , I am new on the site , can you help and follow me @elad1982 and vote i follow you and upvot you
Thanks and Good luck
@elad1982 my friend, steemit is a community of great and lovely people. Consistency is the key to success.
Steem on my friend
You right my friend
Beautiful writing, and I hope that one day we can live in that world.
People are so full of fear and doubt it manifests itself! That's why it's so important to keep your vibrations high just like you explained!
It's hardly about colour anymore it's more about culture and the fear of foreign cultures. In some cases this is justified where the culture is backward and oppressive to parts of its own society. In a utopian world real love would conquer all but here on earth we have mankind, need I say more?
Internet communities like Steemit makes much more easier to communicate to people from different countries, making everyone a bit more equal.
However we still have the language problem. Although we can communicate by using English, only our native languages can provide us the closest relationship. Scientific evidence show that using the main language is more emotional.
While I agree whole-heartedly, I hope this viewpoint doesn't erradicate culture. I love culture. I love how different people are in different parts of the world. I love that I LOOK different than my neighbor. I love that I can go to a different place and enjoy food and art that I couldn't in any other place. THESE things are what make us human- our differences. We are all beautiful. I fear if this is forgotten we will all be wearing grey clothing, cutting our hair asexually and not identifying as anything BUT human. That is a sad picture.
Help lift up our differences. Please don't put me in a box with everyone else. I'm not ready to be the same as everyone else. I'm special. My momma told me so. ;-)
Have a blessed and beautiful day! <3
P.S. I upvoted and followed. <3
We all hope the world becomes a better place for all humans.
The Color separates us but the spirit within Unites us...
You have said it all. Nice one bro
Hope to see that world.
Its possible
It starts from every one of us
In the mind of a man
A mind whose mind is not united with his body and soul can not be in united with another man
Bro nice one
every people have different beliefs and visions. sad to say that sometimes they are making basis of goodness and badness of human by its skin color.
"Racism, xenophobia and intolerance are problems prevalent in all societies. But every day, each and every one of us can stand up against racial prejudice and intolerant attitudes. Be a human rights champion, #fightracism and Stand up for someone’s rights today"...........
The world would be a better place when we start treating people; not just with equality, but with equity. I've been a proponent of equity. And I think that's where the world's peace lies.
Nice piece bro
The major factor should be love. Like 2Baba (2Face Idibia ) said, there is only one race and that is the human race.
Culture defines people, it is their identity but race separates people and brings about segregation. Sometimes i wished we had no idea of 'colour'! I am first a human being before being a Nigeria, an African or a Black.
Right as the saying... United we stand, divided we fall. World peace. :)
The world will be a better place if we unit and stand together...
like a person walked into a bank in one part of the country and was asked where are you from.....the person replied "planet earth"
I guess that's just the way system is.....the minority having the key knowledge to manipulate the majority...giving them flags and titles....all a plot
In this lobby, will there be T.P.? For my bunghole?
I guess Aris is not dead yet. Unity is the pivot to humanity. When there is unity, we prosper. So I urge you all to spread the word "unity" to every corner of the universe. I am a Nigerian, and I love the Arabs and the British.
Great post from a great entity. What we are comes mainly from the cummulative of our thinking
there is nothing like togetherness. the absence of it has plagued us so much especially in nigeria. great post @gbenga
When there is unity in our communities, conflicts will be minimized, Thanks for this piece.
hahahahahahahahaha.. lol
