RE: The good, the bad and the ultra: Steem users

in #community6 years ago

I totally agree, with everything... It's rare that I read a whole post and not think I have anything to add.

...one that would be largely solved by a broad middle-class and that is to be somewhat successful, someone has to be able to be pretty good at several areas that they may not necessarily be strong at.

I consider myself one, a specialized middle class, having more than one "niche" but not strong at any one of them... Funny because all of them are computer related and I suck at real life.

I think one way to succeed on STEEM is to write many posts, if you can't make post a day then do as much as you can, posts that you think are your best. But only post things where you don't have to get immediate returns for.

No one will find you of course (unless you have the ability to market yourself,) but you're not working to be found... You are working to have some quality "persona" when you get found.

If someone found you when you only have bad posts, they'll ignore you... But if what they find is high quality, low payout posts, they will feel compelled to upvote you, or be your friend.

Ah, a better way to succeed on steemit, is to comment on people, and be their friend. Though even in that case it's still hard for "the ultra" to be found, if you're one.
