MY DAD WAS INVOLVED IN AN AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENT

I received a text message from my Aunt early this afternoon, saying my Dad was involved in an accident in Bariga, Lagos and was on admission at the hospital

I was terrified and called his phone to no avail.
I then called my Aunt who explained that he boarded a bike(okada) yesterday to get something nearby and the motorcyclist roughly bumped into a pothole and jerked my dad off the bike and he fell on his head, without wearing a helmet!.

She said he was bleeding so much and good Samaritans rushed him to the nearest hospital unconscious.
I was scared to death on hearing that, hot tears rushing down my cheeks and all I could do was pray.

Although we fell out January over something stupid(I realize it now), I didn't hesitate to rush down to the nearest park to board the next bus to Lagos from Abuja to see him, because all that mattered was that he was okay.

Then received a phone call from my dad telling me he was okay, even though I didn't believe him because his voice was so faint, telling me not to worry about traveling down to Lagos.
I cried and prayed for him over the phone.

We've been communicating since then and tests and x-rays conducted on him shew no sign of fractures in his head or any part of his body.
Praise GOD!!!.

It's been months I last saw him and would definitely visit him soon.
I've never been this terrified in my life.
GOD TOOK OVER AND SPARED HIS LIFE. Celebrate with me🎉💃🏽
I'd have been orphaned today.
Please love your family, forgive quickly, create time for them, cherish your memories with them, take lots of pictures, make videos and make the best of the time you have them in your life. For you never know when they'd leave you.
