I'm curious to read what people have to day. As a content creator myself, I feel obviously a high SBD can help with the costs of creating content and adds motivation to create better content more consistently. It can also have the opposite effect and attract a lot of garbage content just trying to capitalize..

Not that I defend it, but most of the capitalization of garbage is self-votes. Bot votes are paid, so it's not certain they make their money back. Removing self-vote from the rewards (without increasing the worth of the post for promotional reasons) would fix a big part of it.
