CommentWealth Week 3 Update

in #comment7 years ago

CommentWealth has been up and running for three weeks now, and we're still reporting good things!

Again, we'd like to say thank you for the SP delegations CommentWealth has received from @lexiconical, @jimitations, and @daoine-sidhe. The delegation from @geke is temporarily rescinded as she needs to power down briefly. Our total SP currently sits at around 1,500. Losing the 2,000 SP from @geke was a big hit, but we're usually still able to move comments up above the spam. Some of @geke's delegation should return soon, and remember, we're always looking for more delegators!

This past week, CommentWealth finally flagged spam for the first time! It went really well as both cornholio and Hodor went gray.

If you see any minnows needing CommentWealth to flag their spam, please let us know. It's a service we can do for minnows so they don't have to risk flame wars.

Lastly, we want to highlight again the ultimate goal of comment curation, which we can't stress enough:

Please let us know your thoughts on our Steemit service in... the comments! After all, that's where community happens.

What is CommentWealth? Read our Introduction post to learn more about us and what we do. And don't forget to check out our Minnow's Guide to Comment Curation, with lots of useful information to help minnows develop a loyal following on Steemit, all through managing their comment threads.

"lexiconical delegate 300.001 SP to commentwealth"

I've tripled my initial delegation. I know that won't bridge the gap Geke left, so I'll consider adding more soon.

I've even more enthusiastic about the project seeing @geke and @jimitations as the other supporters.

I'm curious, what threads do you primarily operate in? Moving down the Hot section without selecting a tag, to see all hot posts, is usually where I start if I'm looking to go commenting and comment curating. Assuming my feed backlog is dry.

Thank you so much @lexiconical ! The Hot section is where we find most of the spam, and then just in our regular curating day, we sometimes will come across it. Honestly, we haven't found a ton of it lately, which is a good thing. But maybe we're not looking in the right places. 😃
