I remember when I joined Steemit, you could count the active webcomic posters on one hand with fingers to spare. It's a blessing to see the community grow here. I've waded through all the memes and off-topic posts to present you all with interesting and original webcomics posts this week. While there have been efforts to clean up tags like #comics, I keep hoping for the day when Steemit will let us create communities that we can manage.

Great post. I believe Steemit will be the go-to place for Webcomics and it's awesome to see so many great creators rally behind this platform.
The guys behind SteemIt are creating STEEM tokens that you can use on any site. Those tokens are called SMTs. Imagine if a cartoon sharing site like Taptastic used SMTs and paid members in STEEM.
Wow. That has a lot of potential. SMTs and Webcomics could be a match made in heaven.

You're welcome. I should probably point out that my list is not exhaustive. I overlook cartoons that aren't in English, for example.
