I'm going to buy 2 SBI for the person who gets closest to the actual price of each of these: to be announced in next week's round.
How long will this contest run?
As long as I can keep it dumb, of course.
Everything here is 100% certified flea market useless crap!
but everything has a price, am'right?
SO WHAT WOULD YOU PAY FOR SOME OF THIS?
.....ITEM NUMBER 1.....
Hold my beer, I got this lamp
Budweiser, king of lamps.
Hail to the lamp!
For all you do, this lamp's for you.
Be yourself and make it a lamp.
Fresh. Smooth. Lamp. It's all here.
Where there's life.... there's lamp.
When you say lamp, you've said it all.
.....ITEM NUMBER 2.....
A pair of nuts
It seems that half of the items I find are coin banks.
So, here you have some Mr. Peanut coin banks.
Deez nuts are for you.
Mr. Peanut does actually look like an evil Wall Street banker.
Buy one for you, one for a good friend, and then on the great day that they are full of spare change, you can bust your nuts together.
Put your guesses for item number 1 and item number 2 in the comments!
These are the prices for last week’s items:
@sidekickmatt pulls off a win for item 1 with his guess of $21.95. His superpower of knowing the price of stupid crap might need calibrating however, because despite having the closest guess, he is still $828.05 off. Which is like more than the price of every item so far added together =D
Oh, and @sidekickmatt also wins category 2 with his guess of $7.50 which makes him $0.50 off. So, $800 off, $0.50 off, whatever gets the job done I guess!
You have no idea how much this cracks me up, man that you have this superpower. I think that you need to give yourself a cameo in one of your comic strips using your awesome superpower. =D
@veryspider is running Team of Two contest, where you find an artist/writer to collaborate with on an entry.
@dollarsandsense runs "definitely not a cards against humanity" contest to fill in prompts with random Wikipedia articles
@corpsvalues is running Cartoon-off/Caption this to either draw an original cartoon or caption one.
Did I miss yours? Mention this one, and the favor will be returned?
I’d like to nominate for the openmic:
@arseniclullaby to keep inspiring me to be a better cartoonist and
@quillfire to inspire me to either be more logical, or to give up and just make an inappropriate comment. I can't decide.
Hi corpsvalues,
Thank you for your entry in to #comedyopenmic comedy contest. We have asked the judges below to review your entry and give it a funny rating. (They generally have no sense of humor, as the saying goes, those that can't do, start contests and judge).
This will determine your ultimate position when the results are tallied. (That being said, you are free to adopt any position you wish - we can recommend pantsless with beer in hand.)

Thank you to @matytan for the great banner
I don’t know what is worse someone made that stuff or they stayed in business long enough to sell them. Who in this day and age even has loose change to use a piggy bank? I’ve not had change since the Bush administration!
$850 for that mermaid lamp??? I know that a single booby adds to the value but Jiminy Cricket! Was it made from a real mermaid's skin? Hooboy… Ok, calm down, Matt... time to work on the new contest....
Beer light-$20
Dildo Peanut-$10
Dang. A literal Bud light. $7.99
Those nuts are $11.95
Oh, um, I hate to ruin this contest but I think I can see the price on the tag in the second picture of the lamp... looks like it's marked at $20... which is way more than I would have guessed.
As for Mr. Peanuts. Those look like they are ceramic not plastic, which makes them heavier than a duckling but not an adult duck, so therefore they would have a price of... $4.00.... EACH!
Shoot, Mr super eye sight I still can't read the tag even after you point out that it's visible.
I would like to second the motion that the new standard units of measurement be ducks and ducklings...
