I've spent a lot of time in Acapulco (plus visits to Oaxaca and other places). I've never seen such painstakingly-created colorful art in those places.
Skulls I don't care for, but the iguana looks fantastic: super colorful!

This art is common for the Huichol people, so you will find this type of art mostly in the areas they are living.
Thanks. Gives me a good excuse to see even more of Mexico
A want to see much more of Mexico too. You were in Oaxaca right? Could you recommend it ? Heard a lot of good things about it and the Oaxaca cheese is delicious! :D I have traveled Yucatan. When you need some tips for Yucatan feel free to ask!
Recommend Oaxaca? Absolutely, but not for the cheese (you can pick that up in any Mexican supermarket). I stayed a few days in a charming small hotel called Las Golondrinas (full of flowers, great place to bring your significant other), but there are plenty of other hotels.
Oaxaca mole is marvelous: http://www.foodrepublic.com/2012/08/15/the-7-moles-of-oaxaca/
Also be sure to try the chocolate:

i have eaten the cheese a lot, as well I tried the chocolate. Both are delicious. So good to know that Oaxaca per se is worth to travel. Thanks mate
Thanks for your comment :) Maybe this kind of artwotk is sold only in certain parts of Mexico? I dont know :) Yeah, the iguana is awesome. There are tons of real iguanas here in Yucatan.
