These chicks were given a variety of colors and sold in a market in Padang, West Sumatra. Customers are mostly children as they are attracted to the cheerful colors.

If the chicks were in natural colors, children are not interested. That's why the vendors make some innovation by giving the chicks some pretty colors. Of course as the chicks grow up, the colors will fade away. By the way, did you spot the rabbits as well?
