A rare Cauliflorous tree....

Found while Trekking to [Agasthyakoodam](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agastya_Mala) Kerala, India

I have written about the trek here : trekking to Agasthyakoodam – day one.

The mountain is deep inside the forest and its takes a whole day to reach there -- 18 kilometers. Generally people camp at a base station, climb the mountain covered in pristine plants and return the next day.

What flower is this?

I don't really know the name .. found it deep inside the forest - around 10 kms inside. And never saw it again. the flowers are the tree trunk.

such a beautiful flower
