#856 - Colorful street scenes for Friday.

Happy Friday evening dearest Hiveans. It's raining here in Baguio, the city of pines where we are for two nights after spending two nights in Atok. My lower extremities like my foot is aching because of the tense pressure it suffered from the grueling hike we had yesterday for almost nine hours😂. I am eating a lot of eggs and protein based food to recuperate. Hopefully tomorrow the pain will be gone completely. My wife took a pain reliever so she didn't feel any pain, she even bought one for me too but I didn't took it. I hope this will be the last hike I am going to do because I don't feel like the same urge when we were younger. We'll be here for two nights and be back at the metropolitan by Sunday evening.

And now for our daily shots, as I gazed out at the roadside, I spotted a young couple strolling hand-in-hand along the pavement. Their laughter and conversation carried on the breeze, mingling with the hum of passing vehicles and the distant chatter of people. The woman's eyes sparkled with delight as she glanced up at her partner while also pointing out something in the air.

Next shot while I was strolling along the pedestrian walkway, I noticed a man walking towards me and the guy wearing a red jacket, his eyes fixed on the horizon, his gait steady and purposeful. He was a solitary figure, lost in his own thoughts as he navigated the crowded sidewalk. The man with a backpack just walks casually while he approached the man.

Then we got here a young lady talking over the phone. She wears a Chuck Taylor shoes while holding on to a plastic suit case. There's also another woman walking towards her. A man leaning on the wall fence was also duly observing those come upon him.

As I gazed out at the mountain from the top balcony of SM city Baguio, I was struck by the sheer density of human habitation that seemed to cling to its slopes like a living entity. The houses, a riot of colors and shapes, clung to the terrain like a swarm of insects on a tree – their roofs, windows, and walls forming a mosaic of human endeavor that seemed to defy the very laws of nature.
