They shut the road through the woods
Seventy years ago.
Weather and rain have undone it again,
And now you would never know
These lines by Rudyard Kipling was what first came to my mind when I was driving through this road for the morning safari at Nagarhole National Park. The sounds of the jungle in the early morning and the scene completely colored in the green mist with the first rays of dawn trying to pierce through the woods was what made this click one of my best ever.
I also ended up seeing a tiger up close in the safari :) but lets keep that for sometime later
Looks bit spooky yet beautiful. Where will this road leads to?
Leads to the entrance to the wildlife sanctuary.. this is in the buffer zone... saw a tiger sitting on the side of the road a little bit ahead from where i clicked this :D
Amazing picture and the green hue is mesmerizing.
Thanks Pratick :)
