Venezuela has the largest man-planted pine forest in the world, something that not all Venezuelans know. It is called Uverito Forest and is located between the states of Anzoátegui and Monagas. It has about 600,000 hectares in plantations of forests of Caribbean Pine.

Si, de hecho yo mismo no sabía de la existencia del mismo. Ya cuando estábamos yendo para allá me comentaban lo grande que era pero la idea que uno puede llegar a tener dista mucho de la realidad cuando lo ves desde el aire y sientes cómo el bosque se te pierde en el horizonte, es realmente impresionante y efectivamente, no es algo que la gente suele conocer en el resto de Venezuela, tristemente.
