Hello Steemians, Sunday again.Time flies when you having fun.
Sweet Thai basil ( Ocimum basilicum) I captured in the neighborhood.
Thai basil is a tropical plant and is native to Southeast Asia.It is an important ingredient in the Thai,Lao,Cambodian and Vietnamese cuisines.It's flavor differs from the basil which is best known in the Italian cuisine.
In the Thai kitchen it is used as an ingredient in the red and green curry.There are two other basil in Thailand,Thai holy basil and the lemon basil.
I hope you enjoy it and I didn't make you to much hungry for a Thai curry...In case I did,sorry about that....Find the next Thai restaurant.
