Its that time of year again when the summer will go and we anticipate the snow.
The leaves are falling. The sun lies low with a mild orange glow.
My pumkins were an early harvest this year. A lot of pumkin recipes to think of.
Hopeing some will last till tge 31st for some fun carving!
Spicey Pumpkin Soup
Recipe: Slow Cooker
-Chopped Pumpkin
-2 Onions chopped ( pre fried till golden)
-4 garlic cloves sliced ( pre fried lightly with onion)
-Vegetable stock cube dissolved into 500ml boiled water.
-Tsp each Herb/spice;Praprika, coriander, chilli powder, cumin, zatar, salt , pepper, oregano
- Cup of ref lentils ( rinsed)
Add all ingredientsinto slow cooker (or pan). Set in low for 3 hours, high for 2, Blend. ( in pan over stove bring to boil, the simmer with lid for 40 mins- 1 Hour)
