Color Challenge - Today - Pink

in #colorchallenge7 years ago (edited)

The cherry blossoms in my home town were gathering in flurries last May. I've got a picture where I've selected all the pink, cut it, use a luminosity filter to turn the background black & white, then paste-in-place the pink again, but this one stands as Americana.

Later I will post the other one for perspective, and to show how you can get creative with post-production :)

I had to resteem this one. I grew up in Sheridan, and was in McMinnville often. I still have a lot of family in the area. It's a really pretty little town. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you so much! I appreciate the encouragement. I have some AWESOME shots from, and of, the Sheridan bridge, and connected structures that I will be sharing in a later post.

Oh excellent! Sheridan bridge.. :D Walked that bridge MILLIONS of times. I look forward to seeing them.

Oh! How beautiful! I want to stand side by side! Since cherry blossoms have a fragrance, I think that he is still there.
