You should give a little more detail about the provenance and physical properties of these stones!

Thank you for the advice :) I am still trying to find out what works on this platform. Unfortunately, I haven't found anything yet. I've tried articles, 'picture bites,' and even added thumbnails that don't get miscropped in the feed. Whole lotta nada. I will continue to post quality content, but not forever - js

Steemit's got a steep learning curve, but it's worth it in the long run if you keep putting in the time! Just know that it will take quite a while before you start getting attention and followers. Keep posting high quality content regularly, and make sure to search out other people's posts, read them, and give relevant comments on their posts!

There are also a lot of really good resources out there for minnows (new users). You should check out the following:

@qurator
@thesteemengine
@originalworks
@steembasicincome
@minnowsupport

All of these are fantastic resources for new members. Since you post some science related stuff, you should also check out @steemstem- they give excellent curation support, but they do have strict standards- all of which they lay out for people.

And, again, the biggest thing is just patience. Breakout successes are incredibly rare on steemit- you've got to find your way there through perserverance and hard work. It takes a while.

Now I have to go Google 'provenance' lol.
