Hello everyone !
Today is the Sunday Purple
I show you this Osteospermum Ecklonis or the marguerite of the cape.
By @oidac
The marguerite of the Cape, osteospermum or dimorphotéca, matters among the long-lived the most for a long time decorated with flowers in summer … on condition that the sun shines, because otherwise, it closes irreparably!
They form attractive flowery massifs from May-June till September-October with sometimes a hollow in the heart of the summer, when the temperatures are too high. The smallest varieties can also take a seat in a loose stones, constitute a flowery border or furnish jars and gardeners on the balcony or the terrace.

They form a compact bundle which can measure 0,30-0,60 m of height and so much width. In soft climate, the foliage is persistent. Spreading out over the years, the bundle eventually reaches 0,80-1 m of width. They exist in several colors pink white purple...

The foliage is less ornamental: leaves in the very short petiole are bright green, slightly hairy, lancéolées, simple or cut in several lobes in the sharp extremity according to the variety and their arrangement on the plant.

It's my contribution to this Sunday Purple #colorchallenge initiated by @kalemandra.
See you later !
Hi @oidac, I'm @checky ! While checking the mentions made in this post I found out that @kalemendra doesn't exist on Steem. Maybe you made a typo ?
