For my friday-blue challenge, i've posted a picture taken on arrival in Mandraki harbour, on the island Rhodos, Greece some years ago. The 3 windmills have been standing on the harbour peer since the middle-ages, part of a larger battery. Their location next to the ships, so that the unloaded grains could be grounded right away.

A picture taken from a plaque near the attraction, shows an old description of how it must have looked like, with a clear view on the towns imposing walls, which are still largely preserved today.

A quick glance at the defensive walls.
But being a bluechallenge, i'll just stick to this.
Thanks for watching!
