The Blue Ridge Parkway is about 750 kilometers.
It connects Shenandoah National Park in Virginia with Great Smoky Mountains National Park in North Carolina. And is a beautiful drive with Incredible views. I did not remember the Laurel and Hardy clip. Ha! The song was familiar when I heard it, though. Actually, this was probably in North Carolina.
So is that shot taken in Virginia? (I apologise but us Brits mostly know about the Blue Ridge Mountains from the Laurel and Hardy song ;)
