Mount Everest 29,029ft 

Mount everest is one of the most known mountain in the world. In Nepal its known Sagarmatha and in china is Chomolungma. This iconic mountain runs between the boarders of China, Tibet and Nepal. In 1865 Everest had been given its official name by the Royal Geographical society recommended by Andrew Waugh who was the British surveyor general of India. There has been many climbers but it could be very dangerous due to sickness, altitude and weather yet alone the avalanches

K2 28,251ft 

K2, Mount Godwin Austen or Chhogori is the 2nd highest mount in the world. It is located on Chinaand Pakistan border between Baltistan in the Gilgit Baltistan which is the northern part of Pakistan. Thomas Montgomerie made a survey of Karakoram from mount Haramukh naming it K1 and K2. Even though the name Mount Godwin-Austen was suggested in the honor of Henry Godwin-Austen an explorer of the area but was rejected by the Royal Geographical society

Kangchenjunga 28,169ft

Kangchenjunga s the 3rd highest mountain in the world, it lies partly in Nepal, India and Sikkim in a section called the Himalayas. It is located in the north by the Lhonak Chu and Jonsang La ,near the Tamur River in the west and in the east by the Teesta River. This mountain is 78 miles from mount Everest. The name was adopted by Douglas Freshfield, Alexander Mitchell Kellas and the royal Geographical society. Freshfield referred to the Indian government for the accurate pronunciation. Meaning of the Tibetan name “the five treasures of high snow”. Kangchenjunga has one of the highest fatal rates

Manaslu known as Kutang to the locals is located in Mansiri himal which is a part of the Nepalese Himalayas in the west central of Nepal. Its name means “mountain of the spirit” comes from the word manasa “soul” or “intellect”

It is the first largest conservation area and has world class treks. In Sanskrit the name means “full of food” but is translated as goddess of harvests
