Vervet Monkey on a Red Roof

Arrival of the Vervet Monkey to find food or seed whatever has fallen onto that red roof.

Vervet Monkey

Never leave anything behind, a quick lick and it is all gone and so are the rest of the family.

Vervet Monkey

It must have been tasty morsel, leaving a dribble trail running down the red roof.

As cute as they look, if fed they can become a menace, entering into homes to raid food.

Best policy is to let wild animals find their own food, in that way you are protecting them.

@kalemandraThat is the tale of the monkey family visiting, my contribution to #ColorChallenge #MondayRed

I can not comment on anything, because I am too layman to understand the meaning of this post. Which obviously this post is good, useful, and innovative. Thanks for the info

I love seeing monkeys in many situations but I have never seen them licking the surface. They are very intelligent animals. I think they sometimes become wild and devastated. They live in the wild. I think authorities must intervene before they enter houses.
Thank you dear @joanstewart for your photos and information are really nice and helpful

We live in their original habitat so need to be aware of not tipping the natural scales of life, living together means locking food up properly @walid.larbi

LOL what a cute Monkey :P Nice one!

The are cute and can be naughty, thankfully we don't have baboons to contend with @enazwahsdarb

Oh gosh I can’t even imagine contending with baboons lol
