Dear Steemit Friends,
today I captured pictures of the vanilla flower (Heliotropium arborescens). It is an annual plantand grows 80 cm high to 100 cm high. Originally, the vanilla flower comes from the Peruvian Andes. The flowers have a delicious vanilla smell. The vanilla flower is a popular bedding and balcony plant.
This is my entry for #colorchallenge Saturday Indigo. #colorchallenge is a contest initiated by @kalemandra.
Original photos by @elevator09. I used my Smartphone Samsung Galaxy S7 to capture this pictures.
The leaves of this flower is very much similar to Mint.

Great photos! Heliotrope is a beautiful plant, may not have the showy flowers like say Petunias, yet the deep veins on the glossy dark green foliage seem to create a perfect backdrop for the bursts of bitty blooms.
I also have a Galaxy S7 and I'm learning how to use it for photos. My biggest issue so far is training myself to press the button so it takes the picture when I expect it to LOL! I've lost so many great photo ops that way.
Thanks for sharing!
