A beautiful specimen of "Xerochrysum bracteatum", the strawflower! Did you touch its petals, they already feel like they have been dried, hence the name! This is a perfect flower to keep for decorations and such, as it does not lose its color nor shape. One of my favorites caught nicely in this picture!

Ein sehr schönes Exemplar von "Xerochrysum bracteatum", oder auch Strohblume! Der Ursprung des Namens wird klar wenn man die Blütenblätter berührt, da sich diese bereits sehr strohig und trocken anfühlen. Die Blüte eignet sich perfekt für Dekozwecke oder für Gestecke, da die Blüte weder Farbe noch Form verliert. Eine meiner liebsten Blumen, in einem schönen Photo!
