For the Chinese people, red pomegranate is one of the mandatory fruits in welcoming the Lunar New Year. They believe that the many seeds are a symbol of a rich fortune. In Indonesia, red pomegranate is often planted in the yard of the house as an ornamental plant as well as to be eaten. In addition, this fruit actually has many health benefits where it contains healthful substances and is able to prevent all kinds of diseases.
For example, red pomegranate juice, when used to rinse before drinking, can help clean the mouth and teeth, and prevent infection so as to help eliminate bad breath. Meanwhile, slowly eating the red pomegranate and removing the seeds can clear the hoarseness and avoid the dryness of the throat.
Other efficacy comes from the content of tannin substances in this fruit, where they can anesthetize roundworms, pinworms, and worms puta in the intestine, so they can come out through the stool at the time of defecation. In Egypt and Vietnam alone this treatment is common.
This is all I can say, hopefully useful and thanks for having read my post.
