Colorchallenge wednesday : Fruit Manggo Manalagi and Manggo Arumanis from aceh

this afternoon I took time to my garden in Gung Selawah aceh big. the gardens we visited were mango gardens. the aceh people call it by name (mango arumanis) because it tastes sweet and haru, also has a big shape different with (Manalagi mango). I finally found the difference between these two mangoes. these are some of the differences from this mango.

Mango Arumanis and Manalagi are both from Aceh, Mangga Arumanis The fruit is shaped jorong, beaked slightly, and tip tapered. The base of the fruit is purplish red, while the other part is bluish green, has a skin of the fruit is not so thick, whitish-colored glands, and covered with a layer of wax, has a thick fruit flesh, yellow, soft, not fibrous, and not so much water and sweet taste fresh, but at the tip sometimes acidic, has small seeds and oval-shaped flat with a length ranging between 13-14 cm while the fruit length can reach 15 cm with a weight per fruit about 450 g. This mango tree has a high productivity, when the harvest of this mango fruit tree can produce mango up to 54 kg / tree.

Manalagi mango leaf shape tends to tapering with a slightly pointy tip, there is a flower-shaped Manalagi tree like a cone with a yellow flower color with a slightly reddish green stalk.
Manalagi mango fruit has a smaller size compared with mango golek. Manalagi mango fruit has a medium size with the skin of a green fruit when young and has a slightly grayish green color when cooked, Manalagi mango leather thick and waxy with full of white spots with a lot more when compared with other types of mangoes. Meanwhile, mango flesh of Manalagi solid and fibrous. Manalagi mango including durable mango after the picking from the tree.

The most distinguishing between Mango Golek with Arumanis and Manalagi is the size of the fruit is larger and long and oval. Mango Golek has a long tapered shape, the taste of the fruit is sweet and when ripe the color of the skin remains green, the fruit flesh is thick with a sweet and fragrant taste sharp, dark yellow, soft, not fibrous, and if cut will be much to remove water.
