@bunnypuncher my question is From my orange flowers in the previous question, how could I tell which plant is homozygous from the plants that are heterozygous? Tell me how you would do this. What type of cross is this?
I have a yellow flower and cross it with an orange flower. When I plant the seeds created from this crossing, I get all orange flowers. What can you tell me about the alleles of these two colors? If I cross two orange flowers and, after planting the 57 seeds from them, I end up with 13 yellow and 44 orange flowers. Of the 44 orange flowers, how many of them would you expect to be heterozygous? How many would you expect to be homozygous? Show a punnett square for both problems! Thanks!
