Oh, yes it is a beautiful city, specially the place which is called the "Altstadt", "Kölner Dom", "Panorama", ... but I do suggest a visit when it is warm over here again, like in spring or summer!
Oh and that so romantic and nice Bar, in the night "Servus Colonia Alpina" totally worth it! A nice Hotel to stay is also the "Hotel Fortune", nice big rooms, a breakfast buffet with plenty of varieties, ...
