Tiny Trinkets

in #collector7 days ago

I don't know why it has taken me longer than usual to unpack my home. I think I want everything to be completely ready before I do and find a spot for all my trinkets, antiques and furniture. I am more excited than anything to start my garden though. The complete lot is bare, trees had to be taken down and it's all dirt at the moment. I clean canvas to put in the tropical oasis, including the lagoon, that's in the agenda. However, I just want to start my garden asap! I think now that I am older I don't have the same energy to do many things.
However, I was happy to find my little haunted bisque doll (see top pic). She honestly does not frighten me, she makes me smile. She's so delicate too. Probably not haunted just misunderstood by the shop owner who wanted me to take her for free so desperately.
I unpacked some of my crafting things which made me happy, those went into my little crafting guest house (which I took over and am making it into my 2 bedroom she-shed! No guests sorry lol)
Unpacking familiar tiny doll parts also makes me smile.
I need to find my record collection and books! I miss those dearly.
More little things I've made such as this Marie Antoinette head have been rediscovered among all my treasures.
I'm feeling more and more inspired though as the days go by. I think I'm just coming down from all the commotion my move was. Hopefully I get my little guest house going so I may have a spot dedicating to creating and relaxing.
May your home be filled with warmth, your pantry full and may you always have good health!
