일본 니케이 신문에 따르면 야후는 자회사를 통해 암호화폐 거래소인 Algobit의 지분 40%를 매입했다고 전했다.
야후는 Algobit에 필요한 시스템을 업그레이드 한 후, 2019년 봄에 추가적으로 투자할 예정이며 이미 자본 파트너쉽 계약을 체결한 상태라고 밝혔다.
이에 따라 야후의 암호화폐 교환 사업 진출 가능성이 높아졌다고 전했다.
