Over the past few days, Indonesian media have highlighted the story of a girl who is breast-feeding a coffee because her poor parents are unable to afford her milk.
The girl, who has been living on fermented coffee for the past eight months, has hit the Indonesian street and shocked millions in East Asian countries, according to the Odity Central website.
Khadija Haora, a 14-month-old girl, consumes 3 bottles of coffee, about 1.5 liters per day, more than most adults can drink daily.
The girl has been drinking caffeinated coffee every day since she was only six months old, because her parents could not buy milk for her. Strangely enough, the child's growth was not affected at all.
