A very pleasant surprise met me during my very short visit to Hong Kong last week. They have a café culture that rivals top café destinations internationally. I'm dead serious, it rivals places like NYC, and LA! During my very short visit (4 days) I have managed to uncover some very amazing gems. I was so impressed that I will be returning later this month for even more (stay tuned for part 2).
Some gems that I found during my (very short 4-day stay)
COCO Espresso
- All I can say about this place is WOW all three of their espresso's that I had were simply amazing (brought back a 400g bag that didn't even last 2 days)
Kaffeine
- Amazing attention to detail
Hazel & Hershey
- Top notice friendly staff, amazing coffee and they sell a lot of coffee equipment at very reasonable prices
Interval
- Interesting (non-standard) espresso countertop setup that pulls some topnotch shots
Cupping Room
- If you are looking for the some of the best espresso you've ever tasted then try their competition level espresso blends
The coffee academics
- This place is open very late so its a great place to grab an awesome evening espresso
I really didn't expect such amazing coffee experience in Hong Kong(such a pleasant surprise).
Please comment below and let me know if you have any favourite cafes in HK that I should check out during my next visit.
