Enjoy a cup of java at home

in #coffee7 years ago (edited)

Couple days ago, I was going through my photo albums on my phone and realized I had taken tons of coffee photos at home.

What I like about making coffee at home is that you fill your entire home with such wonderful coffee scent. And, there is something about that scent in the air that instantly lifts you up!

Sometimes, I wish that there were candle or perfume that mimics the scent of coffee, lol. (Or, perhaps, they are already available in the market that I'm not aware of?! Not sure)

Anyway, I enjoy the process of making coffee as much as drinking the coffee itself. Also, I think coffee is simply the perfect drink to pair with sweet/dessert. It just enhances the flavours that much more.

Mind you, I am no expert when it comes to coffee. But I can tell you that an important part of my day involves coffee (especially in the am) as it is the time I get to think, reflect or relax.

It's so important that we all have some time of our own each day, and if you are able to do that over a cup of java, that's even better!

Sort:

I like the spot light pine cone. Nifty choice lighting the table off centre.
(anyone notice the canerdian spelling?)

Is that kanji for ko hi. I have been studying Japanese for about 6 months now. I've been studying how to speak by listening to tapes, not how to write. I know the word for coffee is ko hi but I don't know anything about writing, I'm still learning how to write English (just kidding). I also like coffee.

Yes @outwalking (by the way, your profile name is so clever - I am always out walking to explore, lol) Keep it up, learning a different language is so much fun! I used to understand Japanese as I lived with my aunt in Japan when I was younger. But I lost it after moving to other counties and learning other languages.

It's hard to retain and learn when you can't use it. I am listening to lessons from Pimsler tapes that are from the local library. I keep re listening so the words can get stuck into my head.

Yeah, that's a good name for me. Pretty much everywhere I go, I walk.

Thanks for your comment. Have a nice day. I toast my morning coffee to you.

love it and that's my style

Haha - Thanks @smartbean - I know that's your style!

And, maybe I will do some coffee art like you did!
