In taiwan (at least taipei) we are basically to the same, if you dont move to a better part of the area (e.g daan district) you could choose the private school but it is very hard to afford given the household income in taiwan. As a result, many people will borrow the address for those which are near the really famous school and turns out the famous school is easily full while other schools dont even have 50% of students being enrolled and ofcourse the school will get less resourcrs. The loop would go on.

Yes similar to taiwan, private school fee is very expensive and some of the private school focuses alot on acadamic result but i am wondering if we still need this 20 years later? Especially in today era, you could make impact if your programming skill is really good. Who knowes what we need 20 years later.
