We enjoyed the happy first ever UK Sheffield Steemit meetup last night // 我们昨晚愉快地举行了首届英国Sheffield Steemit好友线下聚会

终于，我们的第一届UK Sheffield Steemit好友Meetup聚会，在昨天晚上愉快地结束了。非常高兴，认识因Steemit而结识的朋友们，这也是我第一次参加因某网站而举行的线下活动。

Finally, we had the first ever Sheffield Steemit Meetup last night. I am so glad to meet these friends, which is also the first time I have ever attended an offline event rooted from online friendship.

下面，我将本次聚会的活动通过图文形式分享给大家。

I would like to share our meetup by the following photos with necessary texts. I hope you like them.

聚会地点选在Sheffield市郊的The Hardy Pick酒吧，环境优美，内部设施非常温馨。
The location of our meetup is at the lovely pub The Hardy Pick, which is at the suburb area of Sheffield. Nice atmosphere and facilities.

酒吧的吧台，人不是很多，也不像市区的酒吧人声鼎沸，简直一股清流。室内无烟，也很适合带着小孩来玩。
The pub is not crowded at all, nor loud noise as those bars in the city centre. No smoking, kids-friendly bar.

孩子们也玩得很开心，我儿子和 @wrongjohn 的6岁公子玩成一片。
Kids enjoyed themseves as well, my son and the son of @wrongjohn were playing.

我们预订了两张桌子，可以容纳16位客人的到来。大家陆续到场。加上家庭成员，我们一共有13人到场，我刚满1岁的女儿是最小的出席者。
We ordered two tables wite capacity for 16 guests. Including family members, we had 13 people attended the meetup. My 1 year old daughter was the youngest one.

我要了一杯本地的啤酒。
I like the local beer.

本次聚会活动组织者 @artonmysleeve 和 @tumutanzi 搞怪自拍。当然我们也讨论了一些有关Steemit的问题，以及他将来打算在Sheffield给更多的人介绍Steemit的初步计划。
The organiser of this meetup @artonmysleeve took selffie with me. We also discussed a couple of questions of Steemit, and his plan to promote steemit to new users in Sheffield in the near future.

@artonmysleeve 的不良爱好，香烟，英国的香烟包装实在是恶心，不过他现在基本以电子烟为主，传统香烟是以防万一。希望Steemit能帮助他戒烟。
@artonmysleeve's "healthy" hobby, smoking. The disgusting picture on the ciggarate package does not stop his smoking. Fortunately, he is now mainly smoking e-ciaggrate, but brings the traditional pakage in case no e-ciaggrate liquid. I hope Steemit will help him stop smoking.

@fulcanelli 是一位音乐艺术家，他今晚还要参加一个网上直播吉他表演，只好提前离场。
@fulcanelli is a guitar player and singer. He had a live show after our meetup. So he quited our meetup a bit earlier.

从线上到线下，没有任何陌生感。强烈建议各地的Steemit好友们组织各种形式的线下聚会，收获很可能不只是Steemit，我想这也是Steemit的魅力之一。

There was no any unfamiliarity from online to offline during this meetup. I do recommend other Steemians to organise and join these sort of meetup in future. You will be enjoying the fun and happiness from them. This is also the amazing charm of Steemit!
