Girl to women. Let’s talk about the movie ‘Our Little Sisters’ / 從《海街Dairy》看女生的衣服與成長 /

It was a movie I watched sometimes ago. I love the story of the sisterhood. The cinema photography is awesome, it presents the humble yet sophisticated country life. But what attracts me the most is the costumes in the movie. I have experience working in the movie industry for the wardrobe part. It is a difficult job to solve the ‘what to wear’ for the actors and actresses for each scene, be reminded that those clothes have to be able to present their characters. Therefore, I admire the wardrobe and stylist in the movie very much.

I love the style of the 19-year old Chika the most, she always catches my eyes, she likes to wear noisy floral one piece, with funny bulky cutting, sometimes you may find her in a vintage one piece. And all these items matches her as a girl with curious mind and funny thoughts.

Comparing with her elder sister, Yoshino, who have been working in the city and live with her ex-boy friend for some time. She is definitely a city office lady you can see daily on the subway in Tokyo. You can find her in her shifted dress that shows her body curvature perfectly. At the same point Chika’s younger sister still in the progress of searching her style. As a student, she has nothing more then studying exams and playing sports to worry about. Uniform is her best look to present. (I think It is the best part of our life too)

It just like everyone one of us in reality. We have gone through stages, to who we are now. In the later time, when you look back, you will find yourself look like one of these girls in some point of your life.

From a girl to a women, are you still searching for your style or you have got yourself a suitable comfortable position?

早一陣子看了《海街Dairy》。很喜歡這個關於四姊妹的故事（不劇透太多，有興趣可以去itunes租來看看哦）。鏡頭裡面，把主角們長大的地方，一個安靜又簡單的鄉鎮拍得超美。但最吸引我的其實是電影的服裝啦。我曾經幫過忙做電影服裝Styling，要幫故事裡面每個角色搭配每一天的衣服，而且要了解他們，用他們的個性喜好去選衣服，這件事真的有多傷腦筋。所以每次看到有用心的電影服裝，我都會看得特別高興。

我最喜歡電影裡面19歲的千佳，她可算是最搶眼了。她常常穿花襯衫/印著七彩圖案的裙子/剪裁特別的衣服。電影裡她有穿了條復古黑裙子，我看完一直想找一條（哭，找不到）。反正我想說她的衣服跟她角色個性的設定一樣，都是古怪有趣的。

相比她姊姊，曾經在大城市工作的佳乃，佳乃完全就是都市女孩的化身，就是每天在地下鐵看到的上班族。但你也不得不說她穿起那些貼身剪栽的連衣裙和高跟鞋實在太好看。同時，千佳的妹妹，是一個青春的年紀，忙著功課運動，校服就是她最好的角色服裝了。(做學生也是大家最美好的人生階段吧）

現實裡，我們也一樣，走過不同的階段，成為今天的我們。在往後的日子有天你回頭，也許你會發現自己也曾經是電影裡的其中一個她。

從一個女生到一個女人，你還在找屬於自己的風格嗎？還是已經找到一個合意的位置，能向人展現最令自己滿意的模樣？
