Its impressive how you manage to get some of those phrases out, especially since its a new language and you have to train your mouth to form those phrases. I don't think you're reading off of a piece of paper or card or anything either so I understand how hard it is to remember the phrases and translate them for us. :D I think you're doing incredibly well. :D Have an awesome day! :D

No I'm not reading from a card, believe it or not that would actually be harder! When you read pinyin, which is Chinese with our alphabet, a lot of the phrases don't look like they sound, and it is so ingrained in us to pronounce certain letters in certain ways that it can make it confusing!
I find it best to memorise; what I do is I tend to use what I've been learning that week on my Hello Chinese app. Then I do a quick refresher before making the video. I'm trying now to say stuff of the cuff, though that is proving a little tricky :-)

You're very welcome. :D I didn't realize that reading from a card would be harder...but it does make sense. I have the same problem with my learning Russian...my brain wants to anglicize the letters, even though I know that isn't right...wonder why that is?
Tricky yes, impossible no. :D I think you are doing quite well...are you practicing reading and writing in Chinese as well? I think the writing would be more difficult than speaking it, but it would be so interesting at the same time. :D
