Newly-Released “Monthly Review” Development and Planning White Paper v2.0: Please feel at Home and Leave your Comments and Suggestions “月旦评”发展规划白皮书 v2.0，欢迎大家畅所欲言

We are so honored to release the “Monthly Review” White paper 2018 version. To popularize our CN community and spread the Chinese culture and thought, we decide to update the principles of the “Monthly Review”. And here’s the initial plan.

1. Looking for global translators

To popularize the CN community and the Chinese culture to the people who cannot understand Chinese, we are hiring translators who could help translate from Chinese to English, French, Korean, and Japanese. If you are experienced at translating Chinese into different languages, please contact me by Wechat. (My account id is rivalhw, and please note that you are applying for the translator work when sending the friend request). We are looking forward to hearing from you.

We don’t request the translators to finish the work in very limited time. The transition time is flexible, as the transaction quality is on our top priority.

2. Creating a separate account to publish the translated version of the selected posts from the “Monthly Review”.

We will create a separate account to publish selected posts submitted to the “Monthly Review” in different languages, including the project principles and the top listed posts from our participants. Once the preparatory work is finished, we will arrange someone who is efficient and reliable to maintain this account. The work includes but no limited to making new posts, up-voting other members, and replying to the comments from the readers.

3. Setting up the exclusive foundation to reward all the participants

A. Reward the posts-reviewing judges:

We will regularly give bonus to judges as a reward for their efforts and support.

B. Reward the translators:

The payout from the translated posts will be shared with all the authors. That is to say, the translators will get paid for the translation work.

C. Reward the participants:

We will greatly increase the prize to inspire the participants, especially to the top winners. And we will also try to extend the contest to more aspects like drawing, art, food, and travel, etc. It will not only be limited to the literature area. These ones who make great contributions to the CN community or the block chain area will be able to share the reward, too.
　
It takes more than a dream to succeed. The people who are making efforts continuously deserve to be rewarded with what they supposed to get. We believe that the people who never give up the pursuit of dreams will turn the dream into reality. Because of their efforts, our dream has the opportunity to become a reality. That is why we will reward them. What’s more, we hope all the people in our community could unite and work together for a brighter future.

When improving our reviewing process and optimizing our reward system, we aim to see more high-quality articles, outstanding writers, and warm-hearted volunteers so as to bring the CN community a more brilliant future, develop our profound Chinese culture and extensive knowledge to the people who are from other communities.

Interesting sidelights when writing this post:
The original title of this post is “The initial structural thoughts on the reward method of Monthly Review”. But after I finish it, I found the word “white paper” is quite trendy in the block-chain area. Though it is a commonweal project, its content is similar to the white paper. Then I update to date, and change the title to “Newly-Released Monthly Review White Paper v2.0”. Has this new title successfully attracted your attention? 我们即将迎来“月旦评”2018版，为了继续推广中文社区，传播我们中华文化和博大思想，我们决定对“月旦评”进行升级，现拟定如下内容为初步方案。

1、征求面向全球化翻译作者；

为了向非中文社区推广和宣传中华文化，现征求面向全球化翻译，如果你擅长除中文外的其他语言包括英文、法文、韩文、日语等的翻译，可以微信联系我(微信号:rivalhw 请记得备注：翻译)，感谢你的来电。

我们对于翻译者的时间没有要求，是弹性的，唯一一点便是对于文章翻译的质量是我们不变的追求。

2、独立账号来发布“月旦评”和社区翻译文章；

我们会建立独立的账号，用来发布“月旦评”和社区翻译文章。届时会由社区相关可以信任的人员共同维护这个账户，包括但不限于在其账户下发布相应文章、点赞、评论和回复；

3、独立账户下成立专门基金奖池，用于奖励和激励所有参与者；

评委组激励：对“月旦评”评委组们的工作进行定期一定的激励支持；

翻译者团队激励：翻译者翻译的文章获得的收益将由“月旦评”同各位作者共同享有，即翻译作者们会有报酬地进行翻译;

参与“月旦评”活动者的激励：加大对参与者尤其是获奖者的激励措施，以及扩大获奖者的范围，让“月旦评”不仅是文学方面，也包括但不限于绘画、艺术、美食、旅游等创作，以及那些对社区和区块链创作做出贡献的同学；

我们相信，光有梦想还远远不够。真正要成就一番事情，就要让那些坚持不懈地付出努力、做出贡献的人光明正大地拿到他们该得到的。正是因为你们的努力，才有了我们今日的发展，也正是因为如此，我们更希望同你们携手一起，让社区的明天更加灿烂！
