Still remember the meteors that exploded in the sky of America a few days ago? This time, scientists found three suspected meteorite blocks from the meteor.

planetary field found its first meteorite in Lake Michigan on Thursday (18/01/2018).

"Two days ago, this (meteorite) was hundreds of thousands of miles through the moon, and now I stand here holding it in my hand. This day is very fun," said Ward quoted from Newsweek, Friday (19/01/2018).

To find the three meteorites, Ward and his team used scientific data.

"We really have good data on this," he said.

"Seismic data is lined up with Doppler data and witness data - everything comes together in this meteorite," he added.

The American Meteor Society (AMS) has received over 355 reports from witnesses who witnessed events from across from Michigan to Illinois and Ohio. Nasa Meteor Watch uses these reports to map out these meteor lines.

The meteor is thought to explode and disintegrate into many small pieces known as meteorites as it flies across the American sky.

To find it anyway, Ward had to comb the snowy ground. After 15 minutes of searching, he found his first meteorite.

"I only see small black titl, but you know, I'm very lucky to find the invention but no doubt there are other (meteorites) out there," Ward said.

Ward itself is a very active meteorite hunter. He was even arrested for being a spy in the Middle East.

"I was arrested and tried for spying in the Middle East and almost kidnapped, FARC (cocaine guerrilla) in Colombia," he recalled.

Ward is still planning to find another meteorite until next week.

Woff, woff!

Hello @cekblack, We have met 3 times already!

I'm a guide dog living in KR community. I can see that you want to contribute to KR community and communicate with other Korean Steemians. I really appreciate it and I'd be more than happy to help.

KR tag is used mainly by Koreans, but we give warm welcome to anyone who wish to use it. I'm here to give you some advice so that your post can be viewed by many more Koreans. I'm a guide dog after all and that's what I do!

Tips:

  • If you're not comfortable to write in Korean, I highly recommend you write your post in English rather than using Google Translate.
Unfortunately, Google Translate is terrible at translating English into Korean. You may think you wrote in perfect Korean, but what KR Steemians read is gibberish. Sorry, even Koreans can't understand your post written in Google-Translated Korean.
  • So, here's what might happen afterward. Your Google-Translated post might be mistaken as a spam so that whales could downvote your post. Yikes! I hope that wouldn't happen to you.
  • If your post is not relevant to Korea, not even vaguely, but you still use KR tag, Whales could think it as a spam and downvote your post. Double yikes!
  • If your post is somebody else's work(that is, plagiarism), then you'll definitely get downvotes.
  • If you keep abusing tags, you may be considered as a spammer. It may result to put you into the blacklist. Oops!

I sincerely hope that you enjoy Steemit without getting downvotes. Because Steemit is a wonderful place. See? Korean Steemians are kind enough to raise a guide dog(that's me) to help you!

Woff, woff! 🐶
