At the outer limits of big picture thinking we find climate change theories.
Things were different long ago. Life on earth supported dinosaurs. It did not rain. The earth’s atmosphere was enclosed under an ice crystal dome. Supposedly the cover was destroyed by a meteor. I have walked on it in Georgia: Stone Mountain is a giant round hunk of rock.
Should I go on? Historically we guess at the past. There is no proof because humans were not there to record or remember these events. Perhaps.
We have remembrance of a few centuries. Things keep changing, but we really don’t know why. Again we guess.
The climate is changing. Is it getting warmer or colder? Can humans effect the changes? Are we causing the changes, or are there powers in the solar system sending change our way?
Perhaps there are climates in deep space which we can’t measure. Are we as teenie-tiny humans somehow responsible to govern the universe? I think not.
I struggle to keep the weeds out of my garden. I can’t help with climate change.
Perhaps ‘we’ have more power than ‘I’. I doubt it.
Here is today’s beauty. Look ma... no gas!
I think we will always have climate changes and we the people will have very little impact on these changes.
we can not change the climate, but we can do the same to preserve / natural beauty. so that plant and animal man can be stable in this life. nice scoter bike @doctorjohn
Both the time and season belongs to God, we study those things that are already in existence to bring out our new discoveries, their is nothing new under the heaven. Though, we can build on old things to suit our present need, but the new discoveries are not so new, they still depend on the old.
These are the kind of questions we should leave for God to answer.. Smile
Because we will all come from different angles of viewing things, and non of us might be correct at the end of the day.
I want to believe we are responsible for the climate change. Human activities over the year has coursed a lot of damage
probably due to globalization
Climate is a nature that can't be blame but just to follow.
@doctorjohn Climate change, otherwise known as global warming is as a result of negative human activities on earth. Man in it's nature to explore and make end needs has continued to devastate and pollute the environment he lives in. Today as result of these incessant negative and unsustainable activities by man, the eco-system has been altered from what it is used to be.
Most islands have disappeared away, icebergs melting away and everywhere getting hotter by the day. The world Environment day which is celebrated world wide every 5th of june, has always been at the fore front of preaching about
"Sustainable Environmental Practices"
They have also involved the government of every country to help, although some have adopted it and are doing everything necessary to fight climate change, however other countries have not done anything, thereby neglecting the signs and effect of climate change.
We as individual should STOP unsustainable activities on earth, such as
^Gass Flaring.
^Bush Burning.
^Illegal Cutting Down of Trees.
^Oil spillage and even
^Terrorism.
7billion dreams ......(represents the total world population).
One Earth .
Next time you are in an environment "Be Nice" to that environment, nature will surely fight back.
