Architectural Styles…

antwerp_skyline.jpg

A view on the different architectural styles from 1500 to now… A lot of things have changed but what has changed the most is the time needed to build…
The little church 😉 you see has been built between 1352 and 1521, the “flat’ building on the left only needed a year or so… but I’m not sure it will still be there in 500 years 😊

That's some really cool perspective there!

The "little" church certainly knows how to strike a commanding pose. And you're probably right, the flat building won't be around in 500 years … but I plan to be. I can go check on it in 2518 if you want. 🙂

Great! That way I don't have to go out ;-)

It's a deal then. I'll mark my calendar.

This is simply beautiful. The architects need some credits.

Stunning, love the edit! It brings out the detail in all the buildings!

What a great skyline!

happy tuesday friend, things are not done as before

The amazing things that could be built when people truly had to work to put food on the table and if someone died or was injured while working it was just part of life vs a massive lawsuit.

I love old architecture and the efforts that were put into creating something of beauty vs just function.

Great photo!

This photo almost looks like you time-traveled back 500 years for the shot! Gorgeous capture!

I´m sure it will not be there in 100 Years ;) Great Captured als always! Happy Friday !
