The Corporation "Cisco systems", the world's largest maker of networking devices, announced the acquisition of the company-developer of telecommunication software "BroadSoft" for the sum of a size of about 1.9 billion USD, including debt.
Cisco said it would offer 55 USD per share. Thus, a surcharge equal to 2% to the closing price of trading in securities BroadSoft.
The deal, rumors of which appeared in August, will allow Cisco to diversify your stagnant business switches and routers, giving her the opportunity to strengthen their position in the market of unified communications for large telecommunication companies.
