Dolittle movie was released in 2020, the movie is Fantasy & Adventure.
The main character in the movie is Doctor John Dolittle(Robert Downey), Lily Dolittle(Kasia Smutniak), Queen Victoria(Jessie Buckley), Lady Rose(Carmel Laniado), Dr. Blair Mudfly(Michael Sheen), Tommy(Harry Collett), Lord Thomas(Jim Broadbent).
The story begins with John Dolittle a doctor who treats animals and can talk to them and understand them. Dolittle's wife Lily together explored the animals and treat them. People from far and wide used to come to Dolittle for treatment with their animals.
Dolittle and Lily's life was going very well, there comes a time when Lily dies. One day goes to a distant island for work but in the middle of the ocean a storm comes up in sea which kills Lily. After Lily left, Dolittle broke down.
This is why Dolittle closes the door of the house completely. No one sees or treats any animals. This time the story shows a boy named Tommy learning to hunt with his father, but Tommy doesn't want to kill the animals because he was an animal lover but accidentally injured a red squirrel and is guided to Dolittle's help by Polynesia a macaw.
Tommy couldn't reach Dolittle at first because Doctor didn't see anyone and didn't get any treatment. This time Dolittle is seen playing and talking with his animals and he is in his own world, but after many years, a human came to him for help but he did not it.
At this time Lady Rose comes to go with him but does not let him. When Queen Victoria learns that Dolittle & Lily were treating all the animals, she gives Dolittle a large garden where she can look after lots of animals.

But now Queen Victoria's health is so bad that she has to take Rose Dolittle for this. If she doesn't go to Queen Victoria her animals will be homeless because this property belongs to Queen Victoria, Dolittle agrees to go for this.
This time Tommy treatment the red squirrel he brought. Tommy wanted to go with Dolittle but didn't want to take him, but Tommy secretly goes with them to Victoria's mansion. To find out what happened to Victoria, Dolittle sent his dog to check that Victoria had been poisoned.
Her dog understands all the facts, tells Dolittle everything, and then tells them that someone wanted to kill Victoria and that she was given something poisonous. Dolittle tells Rose this treatment will be possible with the magical fruit Eden.
Because this fruit is good for any kind of disease. This time Dolittle and Tommy both go out in search of this fruit. Dolittle has to take the help of the animals in the water to reach that island. Here Tommy is told that Lily was out in search of magical Eden fruit but died in the middle of the sea.
You can find out from Lily's diary how to get that fruit. But the diary is with his father. He goes to Lily Island to get the diary. Tommy steals the diary but is caught by Lily's father before he can read it, so he takes them, prisoner because Dolittle is responsible for Lily's death.
This time Dolittle's animal frees them from captivity and Tommy gets the diary again. Tommy on the other hand stole Mudfly diary from him. Queen Victoria's health condition continues to deteriorate. This time Lily's father helps Dolittle to reach the island.

Upon reaching the island, he did not see any trees but there he saw a dragon and reached the tree with the help of the dragon from here the fruit is collected and fed to queen Victoria and queen recovers.
Styx reveals that Lord Thomas Badgley, one of the Queen's chairman, poisoned her in order to take the crown for himself, and it was he who ordered Mudfly to foil Dolittle's quest. In the end, Dolittle relies on people and opens the hospital for treatment, leaving Tommy with her. This is where the movie Happy Ending ENDs.
