St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church

Drogheda, Ireland

This is a look toward the alter of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church in Drogheda, Ireland. @cneck and I were cruising around the country after a night out in Cavan, where we visited his Aunt & Uncle that I used to work for at a bakery years back. We stopped by the church while we were driving through Drogheda. It was a breath-taking piece of architecture with stunning details. The most intriguing part of all was up the aisle and to the left. A Shrine at the side of the alter contains the mummified head of Saint Oliver Plunkett. I will delve into that in a later post... For now, enjoy this photo of the beautiful church!
